Dia de Los Muertos

Where: Hollywood Forever Cemetery

What: LA celebrates its Mexican heritage with the annual Dia de Los Muertos celebration. The Hollywood Forever Cemetery is the site for the festivities which showcase altar creations, sacred ceremonial tributes, food and gift vendors and face-painters. Lila Downs is the featured artist for this year’s event.

Vin et Fromage wine and cheese tasting series

Where: Bar Noir at Maison 140 in Beverly Hills

What:This wine and cheese tasting series brings together boutique hotel Maison 140 Beverly Hills and vineyard Malibu Family Wines every Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. for artisanal cheese, charcuterie, fruit and wine. The cost is $35 per person.
