Dwell on Design

Where: Los Angeles Convention Center, Downtown
What: Come down to the Convention Center for the W. Coast's largest design event. Exhibitors will display building materials as well as finished products. Off-site home tours related to the event will also take place during that time. General tickets cost $40 for a three-day pass (early bird) and $45 on-site.
Dance Camera West
When: June 28-30
Where: Hammer Museum and LACMA
What: In its 11th year, this festival showcases over 2,000 dance films from 47 countries. This year's highlights include a Dirty Dancing Dance-A-Long at California Plaza, and a closing night awards reception.

Where: Hammer Museum, Westwood, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park in Los Feliz, ART in the Culver City art district
What: This is the Hammer's first large-scale biennial survey of the work of LA based artists. The exhibit as a whole is comprised of the work of 60 local creators.
KCRW's World Festival
When: Sundays June-September
Where: Hollywood Bowl
What: In its 14th year, this collaborative event between KCRW and the Hollywood Bowl will showcase amazing artists from all over the world on seven Sundays through September. On stage on June 24th: Glen Campbell, Dawes with special guest Jackson Browne, Kris Kristofferson and more.
Jewish Homegrown History
When: Through September 2
Where: Skirball Cultural Center, West Los Angeles
What: This gallery installation projects Jewish 'homegrown movies' on three giant screens. It uses home movies to explore the interplay between personal and collective memories and history.
LA Dodgers Baseball Games

Where: Dodger Stadium, Elysian Park
What: Dodger blue spirit is alive and well in Los Angeles as baseball season zooms into action.
