What: Book Savvy, an annual publishing conference, kicks off another year with panel presentations geared towards writers, covering topics like self-publishing, digital publishing, book promotion, literary trends and more. What: This annual 'stadium-to-sea' 26-mile race (which also features a 5K) will take runners all over the city, from a start-point at Dodger Stadium through West Hollywood, Beverly and ultimately to a finish-line in Santa Monica.

What: This group exhibition explores the influence of French filmmaker Henri-Georges Clouzot and his unfinished film. Five artists have been invited to reflect on the cineaste's experimentation and to respond to it.
