This is earthquake country. Quakes happen. We're supposed to be used to it, and prepared for it. But most Angelenos don't even have an earthquake preparedness kit in their homes. This one only registered a magnitude of 5.4 which according the the United States Geological Survey is a moderate earthquake. Even so, that made it the biggest one to hit Southern California since 1999. Don't get caught out in the cold when the next one hits. Get prepared today.
If you don't have an earthquake preparedness kit, first aid supplies, or a family emergency plan, you need one. This list will get you started: Earthquake Safety Supplies and Information.
