Groundbreaking painter and musician Llyn Foulkes gets a 'double-bill' at the Hammer in Westwood this week with two Foulkesy events supporting the museum's current retrospective exhibit of the artist's career.
Tonight at 7:30 p.m. the innovative creator will perform on his 'Machine,' the one-man music device he created, which consists of horns (more) cowbells, organ pipes and percussion. The show is free (one ticket per person, first come first served).
Then, tomorrow at 12:30 p.m., curator Ali Subotnick will lead a lunch-time talk focusing on Foulkes' Who's on Third? (1971-73)
