LA Observed is reporting that dance sensation Benjamin Millepied (a.k.a. Natalie Portman's other half) is leaving LA in just as much of a whirlwind as he arrived here.
LA's cultural scene was abuzz when the former New York City Ballet principal dancer moved into town and launched the LA Dance Project. However, the honeymoon is over, so to speak.
It was announced just yesterday that Millepied would be the new director of dance at the Paris Opera Ballet beginning September 2014.
Wow, so I guess the Portman too will call the City of Light her home--although its unlikely that any major actor would give up their luxury crash pad in LA, I'm guessing.
