Are you a francophile or fan of French culture in Los Angeles? Having grown up attending the Lycée Francais in West LA, owned by the late Raymond and Esther Kabbaz, French culture has very much co-existed for me alongside my Angeleno ways.
Now, part of the Kabbaz' cultural legacy, the Theatre Raymond Kabbaz is presenting an inventive dance performance from French performance company Arcosm taking place on February 1st.
'Traverse,' created by dancer/choreographer Thomas Guerry, is a mashup of live music, theatre and dance. The all ages appropriate production focuses on the menial daily tasks of one man, transforming them into an oeuvre of choreography and percussion.
