If Afrobeat is your thing, KCRW has just the right event for you.
Part of the radio station's KCRW Presents series, a concert featuring Femi Kuti and his band Positive Force will take place at the El Rey Theatre on Friday, January 18th. The show will also feature KCRW DJ Jeremy Sole on decks.
Grammy-nominated musical artist Kuti was born in London, the son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti. This performance marks the LA stop of a tour that will take him and his group through Northern California, Boston, Washington D.C. and Paris among other locales.
