Looking for New Year's Eve events in Los Angeles? Leaning towards the lively and spicy? Why not head East to El Cid for an evening of flamenco and food?

The East Side Mexican restaurant is celebrating NYE 2012 by offering Angelenos a three-course dinner and flamenco performances for $45 per person (for the first 6:30 p.m. seating).

A second 9:30 p.m. seating will offer a five-course meal and is priced at $65 per person.

Dinner highlights include: Hangar steak with El Cid's signature Chimichurri served with roasted fingerling potatoes and Spanish olive oil poached artichokes; and grilled Maine lobster tail with a champagne foam served with saffron infused heirloom carrots and root vegetable purée.
