Admittedly, I've been lagging in getting into the holiday spirit this year. Christmas and New Year's always seem to take me by surprise but 2012's been a particularly side-tracked year.
With all the buzz going around the Twitterscape and blogosphere about December 21st, 2012, my attention has gone right into all the Mayan festivities. LA--which has a special cultural connection to Mexico--will be a particular hotbed of activity. There will be all sorts of December 21, 2012 events like meditations, art shows and parties.
