Out of darkness comes the light of creation. Not to get all New Agey on you, but when it comes to an upcoming exhibit this month, it happens to be true.
All the grim predictions of catastrophes and 'end of days' surrounding the Mayan Calendar end date of December 21, 2012, are producing a whole lot of creativity.
On December 21, 2012, Antebellum Gallery in Hollywood will present a special show at 7 p.m.--'End of Days: Armageddon Art Exhibit' from 7 p.m.
Creators like Paul Maler, Tiger Phino, Leo Atkinson, Jennifer Sindon, Fernando Carpaneda and Newt Clements will interpret the end date in their own unique ways through their work.
In addition, artist Paul Maler will perform live with Christian Bornholdt. A $5 cover gets you into the den of disasters.
