'Let's Talk About Sex' could easily be the theme song--if there was one-- for CatalystCon, a three-day conference in Long Beach being billed as "a melting pot for sexuality."
The event, which makes its debut at the Long Beach Hilton Executive & Meeting Center from September 14-16, will unite sex educators, writers, activists and many others.
During the conference, open discussions will take place on a variety of everyday and taboo sexual subjects--from polyamory to senior citizen sex. The ultimate goal: educate and illuminate.
CatalystCon's creator Dee Dennis has selected Scarleteen as the beneficiary of fundraiser being held over the course of the weekend. The organization furnishes teens and people in their '20s with practical, real world sexuality information and help.
Tickets are available on CatalystCon's website. About.com LA readers will receive $25 off when using the code ABOUT at the time of purchase.
