Some of you who practice yoga may be aware of a specific branch of the spiritual activity, known as Kundalini yoga.
It was brought to the West decades ago by the late Yogi Bhajan whose birthdate was August 26th (1929).
One of his disciples, a yogini named Gurmukh founded Golden Bridge Yoga here in LA in 2002. Having attracted legions of dedicated and famous followers like David Duchovny, Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna, Gurmukh is seen by many as continuing to carry the torch for Bhajan.
Come see what it's all about firsthand this Sunday at 'A Day of Celebration of a Master,' an all-day celebration of Yogi Bhajan's life at Golden Bridge Yoga in Hollywood.
Festivities start bright and super-early with a 2.45 a.m. sadhana (lasting until 6:30 a.m.) followed by breakfast and yoga with Gurmukh between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Later, at the 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served after the 5:30 p.m. class.
