
Snow White seems to have fallen on some hard times in the above image. Whether you find the depiction hilarious, tragic, disheartening or campy, it's bound to push some buttons of the pop cultural variety.
The artist, José Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros examines what might happen if the characters from our fables were real life, flesh and blood humans in this, and other works, which will be on display at La Luz de Jesus Gallery from August 3rd to September 2nd.
Brace yourselves... In 'Disasterland' the Mexican artist sets the stage for 'fantasy to collapse and surrender to the inevitable apocalypse of 21st century Hollywood.'
The work of jury winners of the 2012 Laluzapalooza will also be on display.
An opening reception for the artists will take place on Friday, August 3rd from 8 to 11 p.m. at La Luz.
