When therapy, yoga and margaritas with friends fail, why not try a little 'drum circle' therapy to revive your mojo? Or just a good old fashioned multi-instrument jam session.
Starting next Monday, July 16th, the Ford Theatre Foundation is launching its week-long J.A.M. (Jazzed and Motivated) series of free participatory music events.
The first one, on the 16th, invites guests to play klezmer with pro musicians selected by the LA Jewish Symphony, at the Ford Theatres in Los Feliz.
The 'week' closes on Friday, July 20th with a therapeutic drum circle directed by Chris Ramirez at East LA Civic Center.
For more information on the other experiential events, check out the Ford Jam Sessions website.
