Johnny Knoxville and Julien Nitzberg's Film Hits Downtown LA

It's a long way to West Virginia from LA, geographically and culturally speaking as well. Filmmaker Julien Nitzberg has made the journey himself, so you don't have to.

He shares his bizarre and outrageous findings in the documentary The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.

Fans of comedic political satire may remember his name from the off-color but hilariously poignant play The Beastly Bombing (a musical comedy about terrorism) which started in LA at the Steve Allen Theatre. Nitzberg is up to his old tricks again with his 'portrait of America's last outlaw family.'

Produced by prankster outlaw Johnny Knoxville, "WWWWW" starts a one-week run at the Downtown Independent Theater tonight. For tonight and Saturday's screenings, Nitzberg will be on-hand for a Q&A.

This may just be the most hipster-coolster way to spend the Fourth of July weekend.
