The term "Conscious Parenting" may not be in general usage...yet...but the folks at Little Soul Productions are doing their part to help parents and kids understand the core concepts behind those words. They create workshops and DVDs for kids and parents that focus on spiritual wellness as part of the growing/learning process.
In the next couple of weeks, Little Soul Productions will be hosting free events. The first takes place this Saturday at the Malibu Country Mart. Lovable giant heart-shaped mascot "Heartly" will be there from 11a.m. to 12 p.m. to pose for pictures with the kids, teach them to dance the "Heartly Hop" and hand out coloring pages. Conscious Parenting expert Teri Johnson will also be on-hand to answer questions.
The following week on Thursday, October 1st, at 7:30 p.m., Little Soul Productions will host a free Conscious Parenting workshop at Village Books in the Pacific Palisades. Based on their DVD Self Esteem, the event will focus on empowering parents with tools to help their kids build and maintain self esteem.
